Financial Considerations and Rate Modeling for Alternative Payment

Curt Degenfelder will review how to input data and interpret the results of the financial modeling workbook created for health centers considering the FQHC Alternative Payment Methodology (APM). The workbook contains four resources: rate documentation worksheet, member analysis worksheet, APM PMPM Rate Calculator, and APM Wrap Calculator. This tool is free and available to health centers. Curt will also provide high level considerations for health centers applying for the APM.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

CHCs will demonstrate an understanding of:

  • High level review of how payment will differ between traditional PPS and APM
  • How to input and interpret the financial modeling workbook sheets
  • Financial considerations for health centers interested in the APM

Cancellation Policy: Effective 11/1/21 - No refunds will be available for cancellations that are received within 10 business days before the start date of the event/training. To receive a maximum refund of 50% of the registration price prior to this deadline, all cancellations must be in writing and submitted by emailing training@cpca.org. Substitutions of registrations in lieu of cancellation is encouraged.

Invoicing/Pay Later:Effective Wednesday, December 1, 2021 the “Pay Later” option will no longer be available when registering for trainings or events that have a fee associated with them.
