Assignment Reconciliation Update
DATE: May 13, 2026
TIME: 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM (PT)
Assignment reconciliation is an emerging state-led initiative designed to better align Medi-Cal member assignment with where patients actually receive primary care. Misalignment -whether within an organization or across organizations - creates challenges for care continuity, quality measurement, and value-based payment models. This webinar will provide health centers with a practical overview of assignment reconciliation, including its purpose, current policy direction, and anticipated implementation timeline. Participants will hear directly from a health center that engaged in a voluntary reassignment process with managed care plans, offering real-world lessons learned. The session will also highlight critical operational and strategic considerations, such as clinic capacity, financial acumen, data accuracy, and stakeholder roles, to help health centers prepare for this evolving policy environment.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES

- Analyze a real-world use case to identify key operational lessons and success factors
