Data Exchange Framework Virtual Office Hours

Data Exchange Framework Virtual Office Hours

DATE:
October 4, 2023
TIME:  3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Pacific)

The Data Exchange Framework ensures that at the point of care, health, and social service providers, along with plans, counties, and other health and social service entities can access the information they need to provide safe, effective, whole-person care to the individuals they serve—while keeping our data private and secure. Additionally, the Data Exchange Framework bridges together health and social services, providing the broader benefit of helping us better understand what’s happening in our health system and improving health outcomes across California.

Once implemented across California, the Data Exchange Framework (DxF) will create new connections and efficiencies among health and social services providers, improving whole-person care. The DxF is California’s first-ever statewide data sharing agreement that requires the secure and appropriate exchange of health and social services information to enable providers to work together and improve an individual’s health and wellbeing.

As health centers begin to transition to this framework CPCA’s Health Access and Quality and Legal Affairs and Health Center Operations teams are inviting you to attend a moderated discussion about this framework. Please come prepared to discuss how your health center is moving forward and to pose questions to our team around the DxF Framework.
