Optimizing Empanelment through Business Intelligence Webcast: A Case Study at Eisner Health

This session was recorded on 6/10/24.

A case study of empanelment implementation at Eisner Health, showcasing the strategic use of business intelligence/data visualization tools like Power BI to streamline panel management through the development of automated reports and dashboards.  Facktor collaborated with Eisner to implement empanelment within the Family Medicine Residency Department due to the new Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements requiring residency programs to establish, manage, and balance patient panels by demographics for residents. Learn about how the Eisner team developed comprehensive workflows/P&Ps, established initial panels and care teams, conducted automatic panel clean-up, and created a Power BI panel management tool to automate monthly panel management and reporting. The presentation not only will cover the fundamental tenets of empanelment but will also offer insights into the lessons learned and the steps taken to prepare for empanelment at Eisner Health. Learn how health centers can effectively leverage business intelligence tools to optimize and sustain panel management that minimizes manual work and required staffing resources.

Learn the steps involved in implementing empanelment, including leadership buy-in, the development of workflows/P&Ps, establishing panels/care teams, and creating sustainable panel management.
