In March of 2019, DHCS simultaneously changed the Medi-Cal External Accountability Set to a new federal standard while expecting higher performance from health plans and providers by raising the minimum performance level from the 25th percentile to the 50th percentile. To meet these new expectations, Anthem Blue Cross is unveiling a new P$P program that pays incentives prospectively to support the ramp up costs of developing additional infrastructure and strategies to improve quality at health centers. In this webinar, Anthem will present the innovative program and how health centers in its network can participate.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understand the Pay for Performance Program Anthem is offering health centers in its network to improve quality and clinical outcomes;
- Discuss and explore the potential value and expectations on health centers participating in the program; and,
- Learn about new opportunities for health centers to partner and collaborate with Anthem.
PRESENTERS
- Joel Gray, Executive Director, California Medicaid Health Plan, Anthem Blue Cross
- Cynthia Cervantes, Regional Director Central California, Anthem Blue Cross
